Mark Brush is a Senior Producer at Michigan Radio where he is working to develop the station's online news content. He was formerly The Environment Report's Senior Producer.Mark also gets out in the field where he loves to gather voices and sounds that help transport listeners to unique places. He's won several national awards for his environmental reporting and editing. Brush is a graduate of the University of Michigan ('00 MS in Environmental Policy and Planning & '91 BA in Political Science).
He has worked in public radio since 1998, prior to that he was an admitted public radio junkie. "I get a deeper understanding of an issue when I listen to a good radio report. Radio is personal in a way that no other media is."
